what happens when you run out of money in retirement?

I'm not close to retirement age yet. But I got to wondering what happens if I live longer than what I have saved for retirement?

How can i survive longer when I run out of retirement funds?

Some people are living past 100 and I wouldn't mind living that long but I fear running out of money during my retirement.

When you run out of retirement money then I guess you'd have to go back to work.

But you should be able to collect Social security during your retirement if you paid into the IRS overtime.

Do your best to put as much money as you possibly can into a retirement savings account.
