I'm trying to potty train my 2 year old son but he refuses to pee in the toilet and will hold his pee in until I put the diaper back on him.

As soon as I put the diaper back on him he will pee without any problems. I put the diaper back on him because I'm afraid of him getting bladder infections or uti's from holding his urine in.

How can I get my 2 year old son potty trained when he won't pee anywhere else but the diaper?

He might not actually be ready to potty train quite yet. I'd just put the diaper back on and continue to change his diapers for another 6 months or so or wait until he turns 3 and try potty training again.

But if you want to get him potty trained now then you'll have to leave the diaper off and he'll eventually pee. You can't hold pee in forever.

Although I'd rather change diapers on a kid instead of them risking getting uti's or other bladder infections from holding in urine.
