If the lawn mower is running fine then I wouldn't bother replacing the spark plug.
My dad has a 16 year old push lawn mower that has never had the oil changed or the spark plug changed and it's starts first pull of the rope every time.
Even after sitting half the year. I'm afraid to change the spark plug or oil because it may not start or run as good after that. lol
