Question

If babies are in the womb for 9 months are we not 9 months old when born?

It takes 9 months for a baby to be born yet when we are born we are stated to be 1 day old on the day we come out of our mothers womb?

Seriously aren't we 9 months old already when we're born? We've technically been on the earth for those 9 months but we were just in our mothers womb but our mom was carrying us inside her.

I just had that random thought and thought I'd ask?

That's an interesting thought and good question. I never thought about that. You're right we ARE 9 months old when we do leave the womb but they just count us as a day old since we're born on that day.

But you're certainly right we're 9 months old already.
