Do disposable diapers expire? How long do disposable diapers last in storage?

Someone is selling some pampers baby diapers that they had for 4 years.

The diapers are cheap and I'd buy them for my baby. But do the disposable baby diapers expire?

Disposable diapers do expire but I think the problem was more with the old style pampers and other plastic backed diapers with the sticky tapes.

The problem with those plastic backed diapers is they'd start turning yellow and the tapes wouldn't stick as good.

The new diapers with the Velcro on them shouldn't lose their stickiness especially in only 4 years.
If you can get the diapers cheap enough then I'd go ahead and buy them.

Yes disposable baby diapers as well as adult disposable diapers do expire with time. The time affects the absorbency of the SAP in the diapers.

But at 4 years those diapers are a long way from being too bad to use.
