How quickly do I need to change my newborn babies dirty diaper?

When my newborn has a poopy diaper how quickly should I change the diaper?

Do I need to change my newborns diaper in the night if it has poop in it?

Yes you should change your newborns poopy diapers as soon as you notice it. Most newborns will cry and let you know they need changed and won't let you sleep again until you do.

A newborn babies skin is very delicate and a poopy diaper left on too long can cause a diaper rash.

Always change the diaper as soon as you notice the diaper being poopy.

You should never leave your newborn in a poopy diaper overnight or for too long during the day. Poopy diapers should get changed immediately as soon as you notice it.

When they get to 1 year old or older then it's not so bad to let them sleep through the night with poop in their diaper.

But I'd still change them. I wouldn't want to sleep with poop in my diaper either.
