Why is my baby not having wet diapers?

My 5 month old baby boy has not had a wet diaper since yesterday. So he hasn't had a wet diaper in 24 hours now.

He's had poop diapers but no wet diapers? He's been drinking his formula so I don't think he's dehydrated?

Should I take my baby to the emergency room if he hasn't had any wet diapers in 24 hours?

If it were me I'd go ahead and take the baby to the emergency room just to make sure things are okay.

But if you don't take him to the emergency room tonight I would tomorrow especially if he has not had any wet diapers by tomorrow evening.

A 5 month old baby should have 4-5 wet diapers per day. If he's not having any wet diapers then I'd be concerned. It might not be dehydration but it could be something else.
It's better to have him checked out for any problems that might exist.
