What is the best budget washing machine?

I'm in need of a new washing machine because I think my washing machine is on it's last legs. 

What's the best brand of washing machine for someone who's on a budget? I can spend up to $600.00 for a washing machine. Any washing machine that cost more than that is out of my budget unless I can save some more. 

I want a reliable but cheap enough washing machine.

I have an Amana Washing machine that I bought for $400.00 at home depot. Now I see they have them for $300.00

The Amana washing machine has been working fine for me for 5 years now.
