No. I don't see why it would ruin your credit. If anything it should improve your credit rating. What destroys your credit is missing payments on your credit card bills.
If you make on time payments it will be reported that you're making your payments on time and are a good credit risk.
It's always good if you can to pay the full balance of your credit card bill off if possible.
