Do landlords check your credit score when renting an apartment?
Do landlords check credit scores of there tenants before renting them an apartment?

Some do and some don't. It depends on the landlord. Some smaller based landlords just renting out some houses may not check your credit score whiles others who rent out apartments will most likely run a credit check before renting you an apartment.

It's nothing personal against the tenant though. The landlord wants to know if you've paid your bills on time.

Landlords typically look for a credit score being at least 620 or higher before renting out and apartment to someone.
