I run an in home daycare center. And I have this new client who drops her kid "2 year old boy" off at my house in a soaking wet diaper every morning.

When I say soaking wet I mean it's literally leaking and getting his pants wet too and he climbs on my couch and leaves a pee smell on it.

How do I go about telling his mom to change his diaper before bringing him in the morning or at least make sure it's not dripping wet?

I would just bring it up to her and let her know that she should really change his wet diaper before bringing him.

It shouldn't take all that long to change a diaper before bringing him to daycare. She should be giving him a bath too before bringing him which would mean she'd have to take the wet diaper off anyway, so she should be able to put a clean diaper on him after his bath.

That's just awful. His mom should be changing him before bringing him to daycare in the morning.

I'd just flat out tell her that she needs to change his diaper before bringing him.

If she doesn't like it then I'd tell her to find a new daycare.

That's flat out child neglect of not changing his diaper before bringing him especially if it's soaked to the point of leaking.

It only takes about 5 or 10 minutes at the most to change a diaper, maybe 30 minutes if the child won't lay still. But still 30 minutes isn't that long to get a diaper changed.

Plus she should be taking it off anyway and giving him a bath before coming to daycare.

I'd flat out tell her how you feel about this situation even if it means losing this client.

It's just plain disgusting.
