Why does my computer clock keep falling behind by a minute?

I have to keep changing the time on my desktop computer every 30 minutes

to an hour because the time falls behind by one minute.

What is causing the computers time to fall behind by a minute and not keep time correctly?

That sounds like it could be a problem with your computer clocks battery. I'm not exactly sure though.
