Domains less than 6 months old are the hardest to rank on google as most if not all new domains 6 months or older are stuck in googles sandbox.
Matt Cutts Stated that as long as a website and domain are 6 months and older your website should rank in google.
But that's not all there is to ranking. To rank in google search you also need to have good useful and helpful content.
