I got into a car accident without having auto insurance and I was ticketed
for having no auto insurance?

What will happen next?

Will having no auto insurance during a wreck make my Auto Insurance rates
go up when I do get auto insurance?

I hope you learned a good lesson by this. And I mean that in a good way.

Driving without insurance can be costly and cost more in court fees, fines and vehicle impound fees than the insurance would cost.

You're likely to pay a fine, and yes you will likely have more expensive insurance rates since you got into an accident and it's made worse when you didn't have insurance.

Your Auto Insurance is there to protect other drivers in the event you hit them and there auto insurance is in place to protect you in the event you get hit by them.

Never drive without Auto Insurance.
