This will pass soon and you'll miss these days even though it doesn't seem like it right now.

To help with the diaper changing struggle you can try a few things.

Warn him that a diaper change is coming soon.

10-15 minutes before it's time to change his diaper. Let him know that soon it will be time for a diaper change.

Don't just try to snatch him up away from his playing or anything else. Give him enough warning about the diaper change and when it's coming.

After you give him the warning go get the diaper supplies ready. Get the diaper out, creams, powder etc and then go warn him again that you'll be changing his diaper soon and that he should get ready for his diaper changed.

Give him a toy or other distraction.

Give him a toy, book or other things to distract him. Give him something he normally doesn't play with. You may have to change up the toys or books to keep him interested.

Let him help with the diaper change.

Let him hold the cream or clean diaper while you're removing the old one. Let him help you by letting him hand you the cream or diaper when you're ready to put the new diaper on.

Although be aware he might want to smear the diaper cream all over himself or on anything else.
