I've never fully heated my home with electricity so can't say for sure.
But I used to heat my home with heating oil only and the heating cost for the entire heating season came to $6,000.00 for each year and sometimes more if the heating oil went up in price.
$6,000.00 per year means I was paying $1,000.00 per month for heating fuel which is very expensive.
I would assume that heating with electricity would be cheaper but it may not be depending on your electricity rates.
Heating oil however would be much warmer heat coming from the vents than electric heat would be too.
