I am afraid of going outside when my neighbors are out

I have this fear of seeing my neighbors. I live alone in my house and rarely go outside.

Whenever I see my neighbors outside I just can't make myself go outside.

I'm always looking out the window when I think they're gonna be gone or not outside.

I always make sure no one else is outside before I go outside.

I wait until the late evening when no one is out before going to the post office to check my mail.

Anyone else here can relate to what I'm going through or can anyone give me advice on getting over this fear?

You're not alone. I'm the same way.

We have what's called Social Anxiety. I can never startup up a conversation with someone and I'm afraid to even look at another person.

It's really crippling.
