Should I get a colostomy or stick with Adult Disposable diapers?

I'm Fecal incontinent and currently wear Adult Disposable Diapers to cope with my Fecal Incontinence.

I was thinking about getting a Colostomy so I don't have to wear the diapers anymore.

Has anyone here had a colostomy and could shed some light on if it's better to get A Colostomy or stick with wearing my Adult Diapers?

I'm Fecal Incontinent too and have thought about getting a colostomy as well. 

But I decided that diapers would be much better than having a surgical procedure done and having to use another type of bag. 

I'm diapered right now. Do I like it? Heck no. But I'll stick with my diapers as I'd rather wear diapers for the rest of my life rather than endure an invasive surgery. 

Other than diaper rash I've had no side effects. I'll take my diaper over a colostomy any day. But, this is my decision. You need to decide what is right for you. 

I rather not be diapered 24/7, but I consider my Adult Disposable Diapers the lesser of two evils.
