When sitting at a computer for long hours you should sit straight up in your chair and not slump as that could cause back problems.

Make sure your feet are resting on the floor and adjust your chair so that you're sitting at the proper height so your arms are resting on the desk straight and not hanging down as having your arms hanging down can cause you to have wrist problems as well as carpal tunnel syndrome.

When adjusting your chair to the correct height be sure to have your computer monitor sitting at the correct height as well and raise the monitor if needed.

The top of the computer monitor should be at eye level or even raise it a little higher if needed. I personally like to have my monitor positioned so that the center of the monitor is at eye level.

You can get adjustable desk monitor mounts or wall mounts so you can adjust your computer monitor as needed.

Sometimes I like the top of the computer monitor at eye level and other times I like to raise it a little higher so that the center is at eye level.

With an adjustable wall mount I can adjust it to my liking where I feel most comfortable working on the computer that day.

I used to have my computer monitor sitting down on the desk where I was bending my head to look down and I used to get neck pain but now that I look straight across with my head not bent down my neck is not hurting anymore.
