Solid State Drives tend to have a lower lifespan than regular hard drives that have a disk spinning.
I've had regular hard disk drives last up to 10 years in my computers while a Solid State Drive has only lasted me 3 years before failing.
I've heard that some solid state drives have lasted longer but that hasn't been my experience.
Expect to be replacing your Solid State Drive within 3 to 4 years and have your important files backed up.
