During the first 6 weeks of the babies life the bottle and formula fed baby should be pooping from 3 to 5 times per day.
After your baby turns 6 weeks old the baby will start to poop less during the day and will usually and normally have only one bowel movement per day or every other day which is normal.
Breastfed babies can go up to a week normally without pooping and it's nothing to worry about.
As long as your bottle fed baby is over 6 weeks of age and is pooping at least every other day then it's normal and nothings wrong with your baby.
Of course it's also normal for the baby to go a week without pooping even when being bottle fed but if the baby hasn't pooped after a week then he or she is likely constipated.
