If you take your dog to the Vet then between the cost of Vet Visits and food for your dog you can expect to pay around $1,500.00 per year to take care of one dog.
Of course that doesn't include toys or any non essential items but if you do buy toys for the dog then the cost can go up even more.
It's still cheaper than a human kid though. :)
