Whenever I burn my tongue it takes 2 weeks for the tongue to heal back up fully.
In some cases if your tongue is more severely burnt it can take as long as 6 weeks for the burnt tongue to fully heal.
Sprinkling a little sugar on the burnt tongue can help get rid of the pain and help the tongue to heal back up after it's been burnt.
