I'm currently 18 years old and I have a job but I don't want to work until I'm 65.

I want to try and retire early by age 40. At least by age 50. Is it possible for me or anyone else to retire as early as age 40?

Has anyone here done so and if so can you give me some advice on how to achieve this goal.

Life is too short to work all our lives. We need to have some fun.

65 years old retirement age seems so far away for me and I really don't want to work that long at least I hope I don't have too.

It's entirely possible to retire by age 40.

Make sure you save as much of your income as
possible.

Don't spend on unneeded stuff. Be frugal
and save everywhere possible.

If you put $250.00 a month into savings you'd
have $3,000.00 per year and in 22 years when you're
40 you'll have $66,000.00 in your retirement
fund.

That's just an example. Of course more money
going into savings is better if possible.
