Other injuries to other parts of your body can cause shoulder blade pain as well and the injuries to other parts of the body that can cause you shoulder blade pain include, torn rotator cuffs and spine fractures or other injuries to your body.
A bulging disc in your spine, herniated disc, or degenerative disc disease are other common causes of shoulder blade pain.
If the shoulder blade pain lasts longer than a few days or seems to get worse you should speak with your doctor about it in case something more serious is wrong.
Although if it goes away within a few days or sooner then it's likely nothing to worry about.
