If the baby just has a wet diaper and it's not bothering the baby then it's fine to let them sleep through the night in the wet diaper.

If you're using disposable diapers then they're designed to wick the moisture away from your babies skin so your baby won't feel wet like they would in cloth diapers.

If your baby poops however then you should change the diaper to prevent the baby from getting a rash from the poop and to keep the room from smelling like poop through the night.

Now for an older toddler such as 2 years old, then if a 2 year old or older pooped in a diaper before drifting off to sleep and they were in there own bedroom then I would just leave it till morning.
