Preventing a program from automatically starting in Windows 10 is pretty easy.
Click on the start button then select the settings apps startups option and then from there you should see an option to turn the application off.
Set the option on the app to off so the program won't startup automatically when starting Windows 10.
You may have to restart the computer for the settings to take effect.
