Prepaid cards will work just as good as a debit or credit card when purchasing plane tickets.
As long as the airline accepts your prepaid card which they should if it's a Visa, Mastercard or American Express prepaid card then you should have no problem purchasing an airline ticket using the Prepaid Debit card.
