A baby should sleep in their parents room in either a bassinet or crib until the baby is at least 6 months of age.

It's much better though to keep your baby in your room for the first year of your babies life before moving them to there own room.

After a year of age then you can move your baby to their own room but it's best to keep a baby monitor with a camera on to watch your baby and alert you in case something goes wrong.

Keeping your baby in your room for the first year is known to prevent SIDS and you'll be able to respond to your babies needs much faster and easier as well.
