How many square feet are in a mile of road?

One mile would be 5,280 feet and to calculate a side you multiply an area of a square by the side itself.

So 5,280 feet which equals a mile of road would mean that there's 27,870,400 square feet in one mile of road.

One mile is longer that it seems or looks.
