Raising a child can be expensive especially when they're first born.

When the child is first born and going through the baby stage of life your expenses will be diapers, clothing that changes often, crib and lots more.

And Formula which can be expensive if you don't breastfeed.

Cost of disposable diapers for one baby will cost you from $50.00 to $100.00 per month depending on how expensive the diaper brand you buy for your baby.

Diapers for a baby can cost from $600.00 to $1,200.00 per year per baby.

If you have twins you can pay $1,200.00 per year to $2,400.00 per year on disposable diapers alone.

Cloth diapering would be cheaper if you'd rather go that route but cloth diapering requires washing of the diapers.

The estimated cost to raise a child from birth to age 17 is $233,000.00 or $14,000.00 annually

Of course your cost could be lower depending on how much you spend or can spend but be prepared to spend a lot of money.

Another thing to factor in is food that you have to feed your child as food is expensive as well.
