Canola Oil is much more healthier to cook fried foods with than regular vegetable oil since Canola Oil is higher in monounsaturated fat and contains less saturated fat than regular vegetable oil does.
Canola oil that contains monounsaturated fat and Polyunsaturated fats helps to actually improve your cholesterol levels and lessens a persons risk of getting heart disease.
I stopped cooking with vegetable oil a few years ago and now cook exclusively with Canola oil and I've noticed my cholesterol levels have lowered to normal levels and I feel much better.
So if you're gonna fry foods then reach for the Canola oil instead of the vegetable oil if you want to stay more healthy while eating the fried foods.
