If you or your child or other loved one has Symptoms of Rat Bite Fever you should seek medical attention as soon as possible as it can be deadly for some people.

The symptoms of rat bite fever that you might experience are, Chills and Fever, Headache, Swelling of your Lymph Nodes, Muscle Pain, Sore Throat and Vomiting and a rash on the skin with reddish brown or purple plaques.

Other complications that may arise from rat bite fever are Pneumonia, Meningitis, infection of the heart and hepatitis.

Seek medical attention if you experience any of those symptoms or have been bitten by a rat or ate any food that may have been contaminated by rats.

If rats have eaten any food such as bread or anything else throw the food out and do not eat it even if the rest of the food seems okay.

The Rat Bite Fever can be spread through contact with food and even the Rat Biting you.
