Yes you can be allergic to pineapple or any other fruit or food.
You didn't say what you experience when eating Pineapples but I'm assuming you get a burnt tongue when eating pineapples?
If you're getting a burnt tongue it could be that your tongue is just more sensitive to the enzyme contained within pineapples and that causes some peoples tongues to burn when eating the pineapple.
