A good home remedy I use to clean my hardwood floors is to use some vinegar and water to clean my hardwood floors.
Take one cup of vinegar and mix it with 1 gallon of water and then mix it up in the mop bucket with the mop and then mop the hardwood floors with the vinegar and water.
The vinegar and water will get your hardwood floors clean without any harsh smells or chemicals to breathe in.
Also be sure to not leave your hardwood floor wet with puddles and get the hardwood floor as dry as possible otherwise if you leave the hardwood floor too wet you risk cracking or warping your hardwood floors like I did once.
You can also clean your hardwood floors using Pine Sol as well if you dilute it in 1 gallon of water as well but the Pine Sol although it smells okay it just makes it hard for me to breathe in the house after mopping my hardwood floors with the Pine Sol.
