You get the same amount of financial aid whether you live on or off campus.
But in some cases you might get a bit more financial aid to cover housing expenses if you have to live off campus away from the college.
You don't always get more financial aid for living off campus but sometimes you do if you're eligible and you'd have to speak with the people when you sign up for financial aid to be sure you qualify for the extra financial aid when living off campus.
