Due to the ice storm we have my utility pole is leaning bad and is broken towards the bottom.

I was informed by a neighbor that I'd need to replace the pole that my meter socket and service drop is attached too.

How much do these utility poles cost to replace?

Depending on the height of the utility pole they can cost upwards of $300.00 or sometimes more.

An electrician would be the one to call and get quotes from as they will be able to install the pole and maybe a new meter socket and service entrance wire if yours was damaged.

Although do ask your electric company if they install residential poles.

My electric company installed me a new utility pole for free and all I had to do is put the meter socket and service entrance on it and they hooked it up.

Some do this and some require you to purchase and install your own pole.

The meter socket and service entrance wire and weather head are the customers responsibility.
