Do cat colds go away on their own?

When a cat gets a cold does the cat need any treatment for the cold or can a cats cold go away on it's own?

A cats cold will usually go away on it's own without any treatment within a week or two without any need for antibiotics.

If the cats cold lingers for longer than 2 weeks you may have to take the cat to the vet to see what's wrong but usually the cat will recover from the cold virus on it's own overtime.
