What temperature does it have to be for a school to close?

How cold does the weather have to be before a school will close down?

In my area a school will not close down unless the high temperatures are 10 F or below freezing.

Any temperature above 10 F then the schools will still open since they do have heat inside the schools to keep the students and them warm.

But 10 F and below they close so the students don't have to get out in the cold.
