If a person is not incontinent they should be able to hold their urine for up to 10 hours.
I usually get up in the middle of the night to pee since my bladder seems to get full and it wakes me up so I go pee even though my bladder could likely hold more.
I could hold my urine in for 10 hours during the day if needed but it's much better to go ahead and pee when I need to so I can avoid getting Urinary Tract infection or kidney disease.
