A boil should be ready to pop within a week.
You can help the boil get ready to pop by applying a warm compress on the boil and soaking the boil in warm water.
Doing the above will help bring the pus to the surface. When the boil does pop wash it with antibacterial soap and rubbing alcohol.
Whatever you do don't pop the boil with a needle. let the boil pop on it's own which it should within a week.
