After jump starting your cars dead battery you should let the car run for at least 2 minutes before you drive off.
Then you should drive the car another 30 minutes before shutting the car off again.
It's recommended that you drive the car at a good speed to allow the battery to fully charge back up.
Take the car down the highway for a 30 minute drive before stopping somewhere and shutting the car back off.
