How do you get rid of a stinky kitchen drain?

My kitchen drain is smelling awful and I'm wondering what I can do to get rid of the stinky smell from my kitchen sink drain?

Whenever my kitchen drain or other sink drain is starting to smell I get rid of the smelly kitchen drain by pouring a cup of baking soda and a cup of white vinegar down the drain when it's not being used.

The baking soda and Vinegar keeps the smells from coming from my kitchen sink and other sink drains.
