I have an American Express Bluebird card through Walmart and you can add money to the Bluebird Prepaid debit card easily at any Walmart Cash register and there's no fees to add money to it or even to use the Bluebird card.

You can also write checks through your Bluebird Debit card account and can have money directly deposited to the Bluebird Prepaid Debit card account without any fees.
