Anyone Move back to there hometown and regret it?

I'm thinking about moving back to my hometown after being gone for 5 years. The town I moved to I no longer like it.

I moved away from my old town because I was tired of living there but now have the itch to move back.

Anyone move to there home town after being away and regret it?

Yes.

I moved back to my hometown almost 2 years ago. At the time it seemed like a good idea.

I lived in my hometown from the day I was born up until I turned 10 years old, then we moved to another town 11 miles away, I then moved away to Arkansas at the age of 13 with my parents and then in 2008 at the age of 20 I moved back to Kansas to the town we moved to when I was 10.

I then lived there until the end of 2014, where I then found my current place in my hometown and started making payments.

I thought I'd love living here again, but after living here for almost 2 years, I now wish to move out of State and probably back to Arkansas and find my little piece of heaven in the countryside.

I still have 8 more years to pay on the place. If I had the money to keep making the payments and still move I would in a heartbeat.

I still need to do some work on the place before I could think of renting it out.

I'll be 37 when I get the house paid for and when I do I'm sure I'm gonna be selling this place to someone else and moving out.
