It would depend on the local laws on pets in your area but most likely it's illegal to keep A Komodo Dragon as a pet.
And that's for good reason. Komodo Dragons are very dangerous to Humans and they don't make good pets at all.
They're prone to attack humans and when they do they will bite you and the bite is poisonous and can kill you.
Even if it's legal in your town or state I would not recommend getting a Komodo Dragon as a pet especially if you have children in your house.
