You can keep packaged lunch meat frozen in the freezer for up to 6 months without it going bad.
I buy extra lunch meat when it's on sale and freeze it. The lunch meat is still okay to eat after 6 months but what I mean by the lunch meat going bad after 6 months in the freezer is the lunch meat starts getting freezer burn and doesn't taste as good as it once did.
