Disputes on your credit report can stay on the credit report for years and in some cases up to 7 years.

But you can remove them sooner if you contact the credit Bureaus to have them remove the dispute.

You'll need to get a copy of your credit report and then call up the credit Bureaus, you'll need to tell the Credit Bureaus to remove the dispute comments from all of your accounts on your report.

The Phone numbers to the 3 Credit Bureaus are.

Experian.

(714) 830-7000

You'll need to press 0 to speak with a live agent.

Equifax.

(800) 846-5279

You should be directly connected to a live agent without pressing 0.

Transunion.

(800) 916-8800

You'll need to press 3 during the first message that comes on and then press 2 to be connected to a live agent.
