Do auto repair shops have payment plans?

Do auto repair shops allow you to make payments to them on big repair bills?

I've never found an auto repair shop that offers payment plans on the auto repairs but you can get a loan to pay for the needed auto repairs and then make payments on the loan to pay off the huge auto repair bills.
